Life Modelling by stunning Burlesque queens and circus performers. The most beautiful and bizarre come out for the purpose of furthering your art work.

Coco Poppin is Sugar Blue’s resident hip shaker! Specializing in Samba and 1960s Go-Go dancing, Coco performs burlesque in her trademark cheeky, energetic style.

Taking inspiration from the dances she loves, Coco can shimmy like Carnaby Street and shake it like Carmen Miranda!

When not performing, Coco teaches Brazilian Samba, Argentine Tango, 1960s Go-Go, and Cabaret Chair dancing. She has toured nationally performing Samba and 1960s Go-Go, and has also performed with international artists and musicians. She was also one of the original Les Satanique Go-Go dancers at Perth’s legendary 1960s retro supper club Deville’s Pad

Our slightly over hyperactive and insane German Scientist Dr Barry Umenema will be back to host us through the evening. He’ll drag you giggling and screaming through his bizarre games and throw lollies at you whenever he damn feels like it.

Miss Cherry Shakewell luckily comes to us on her Australian tour!

Having performed with and for the likes of Gucci, Fat boy Slim, Richard Branson, Colin Farrell, Sam Neil, The Dresden Dolls and Stanton Warriors let’s just say this kitten knows how to work it.

Born in Brighton UK, her dancing career and solo performances have frequented renowned venues such as The Whoopee Club, The Tassel Club in Dublin, Kroon Kat Lounge, Virginia Creepers, Ministry of Burlesque and Lost Vagueness.

With a piping hot retro glamour puss 60’s look, this Cherry strikes you as a smoking hot Bond girl about to tred out onto the beach and shake her golden hair free. But as you know at Sketchy’s we’re bound to get a lot more icing on the cake…

She’s a knockout with those hips too – don’t miss her astonishing hula hoop act! The Queen of Cute, Clara’s mischievous smile is irresistible, not to mention those va-va-voom curves! He gives Hugh Hefner’s wardrobe a run for it’s money and will charm the pants off you before you realize they’re actually gone!     Miss Vivian Marlowe is a burlesque queen belonging to the Noir Boudoir Burlesque performance group.
    This little slice thrives on the dark and mysterious and so elegantly hypnotizes her audience with her petit form and golden locks.

    Be prepared to almost feel a haze of opium waft past you as you try and concentrate on her black and white picture perfect face and mona lisa smile.

    Coming to you this month at Dr Sketchys we have another stunning Sugar Blue Burlesque Artiste! Fresh from the finals of Miss Burlesque Western Australia, Miss Cécile Mimieux.

    A pearl amongst pearls this lovely little thing is a delicate and intensely sensual female. Her long black locks, creamy white skin and perfect body have often been compared to the amazing Dita Von Teese!

    Having trained as a ballerina most of her life her burlesque routines incorporate breathtaking movement and poses alongside a potent sexuality and mysterious smile.

    Hosting us again we shall have the incredibly odd and energetic Dr Barry Umenema, please don’t be frightened if he starts to measure up your brain behind you or begins to mutter about his experiments he is mostly fanatical about the wonderful art you will all be making!
